I've struggled with depression ever since high school. I don't know how it developed but it did. I was also diagnosed with ADHD in high school which I know now is not true. Personally I would rather be on a stimulant than live with the disorders I've been diagnosed with. I went to see a psychiatrist last December so get back on medication to help me manage my ADHD symptoms to help me with school and to also treat my depression which was taking a turn for the worst. I have always thought majority of mental illnesses were a joke and "in your head." Karma got the last laugh when the tests came back negative for ADHD and also that SSRI's (anti-depressants) don't get along with people that have Bipolar Disorder. I'll share many of my manic adventures that I can remember in later posts. I received my official diagnosis a few weeks ago so I'm still trying to let everything sink in.
I'm looking forward to writing about me experiences and if anyone ever has a question, feel free to ask away either in the comments or you can send a private message. If you don't really know what Bipolar Disorder is feel free to give WebMD a read until I post more (WebMD ).
I'M OFF!
